Gamma Alpha Omega Welcomes Upsilon Chapter

San Diego, CA: During the 16th Annual National Convention held in San Diego, CA, Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. was proud to recognize the formation of a new chapter, Upsilon. Upsilon is the 19th chapter to be added to Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority's growing organization. The new chapter consists of six founding mothers who are Martha La Rosa, Laura Guerrero, Libni Tobar, Inga Ascencio, Patricia Munoz, and Suleima Cortez. There is one founding charter who is Adriana Romero. Martha La Rosa is the chapter's current President.

Upsilon chapter is located at the University of Oregon, which makes this the second chapter established in the state of Oregon. After support from fellow sisters at Kappa Chapter (located at Oregon State University) and the surrounding northwest chapters, Upsilon chapter officially became a chapter on October 9, 2009.
